Product Numbers: 202062115942

Product description: The 2DMC provides the opportunity to evaluate low and medium contrast resolution in CT and particularly in Flatpanel-Detector-CT and Cone-Beam-CT (e.g. Dental-CBCT).

INTRODUCTION

Spiral / Helical CT 2D Medium Contrast Phantom with four contrast steps

The 2DMC provides the opportunity to evaluate low and medium contrast resolution in CT and particularly in Flatpanel-Detector-CT and Cone-Beam-CT (e.g. Dental-CBCT).
QRM phantom QRM phantom

The Phantom has been designed to evaluate the imaging capabilities of 3D X-ray imaging modalities in the x/y-plane. CT-scanners low and medium contrast resolution capabilities can be obtained by a single scan using axial images and coronal reformations. The phantom visualizes the impact of all scan, image reconstruction, and display parameters.

Four series of different contrast step cylinders with diameter varying from 2 mm to 8 mm and a large zylinder of 15 mm are located in the 100 mm diameter cylindrical body of homogeneous tissue- equivalentmaterial.

Specifications

Phantom diameter: 100 mm
Phantom length: 100 mm
Phantom weight: 0.9 kg
Material: tissue-equivalent plastic, typ. 38 HU (at 120 kV)
Contrast inserts: -25 HU, -50 HU, -75 HU, and -100 HU relative to background
Other CT-values on request.
Cylindrical contrast inserts (diameters): 2 mm

3D Spatial Resolution Phantom

The D100-3DSR provides the opportunity to optimize collimation, pitch value and image reconstructio to achieve isotropic spatial resolution in all types of clinical applications.
QRM phantom QRM phantom QRM phantom

The high-contrast spatial resolution test phantom visualizes the impact of collimation, slice width, pitch and image reconstruction algorithms.
The test pattern is a series of drill holes with varying spacing from 8.0 mm down to 0.8 mm (see table 1, right image) allowing for an order of magnitude in spatial frequency.
With spiral/helical CT, evaluating both axial images and coronal reformations, spatial 3D resolution can be tested by a single scan.

Spiral / Helical CT 3D Spatial Resolution Phantom

Measure in-plane and axial spatial resolution simultaneously. Optimize collimation, pitch value and image reconstruction to achieve isotropic spatial resolution in all types of clinical applications.

Spiral / Helical CT 2D Low-Contrast Resolution Phantom with two contrast steps

Measure the in-plane and axial low-contrast resolution. Optimize tube current, collimation, pitch and image reconstruction for the desired low-contrast resolution in all types of clinical applications.

The Phantom has been designed to evaluate the imaging capabilities of a CT scanner in the x/y-plane as well as in the axial-plane. The CT’s low-contrast resolution capabilities can be obtained by a single spiral scan using axial images and coronal reformations. The phantom visualizes the impact of all scan, image reconstruction, and display parameters.

In order to mimic imaging conditions in either head or body applications, a contrast of -10 HU or -20 HU can be ordered. Other contrast levels are available on request.

Two series of different low-contrast cylinders with diameter varying from 5 mm to 15 mm are located in the 100 mm diameter cylindrical body of homogeneous tissue-equivalentmaterial.

Phantom diameter: 100 mm
Phantom length: 100 mm

Spiral / Helical CT Slice Sensitivity Phantom

Measure the sclice sensitivity profile (SSP) in spiral CT volume scans. Optimize collimation, pitch and image reconstruction for improved slice sensitivity and axial spatial resolution in all types of clinical applications.
QRM phantom QRM phantom QRM phantom

Our phantom QRM-SSP is designed to test the slice sensitivity of a CT scanner’s spiral/helical scan modes. It contains a 25 micron thick metal foil of circular area (diameter 1 mm), embedded in a cylinder of uniform tissue-equivalent plastic. The heavy-metal insert is designed to evaluate all collimations from 0.5 mm to 10 mm with adequate image contrast. We suggest to analyze the maximum CT number of the high-contrast insert for a series of axial images.

Specifications

Phantom length: 100 mm
Phantom diameter: 23 mm
Metal foil diameter: 1 mm
Metal foil thickness: 0,025 mm

D100 Water Tank

QRM-Water-Tank provides the opportunity to evaluate noise and homogeneity in CT images. The water tank was designed to fit in the standard thorax and abdomen phantoms. It can be used as well to measure sample probes in water.

The Phantom can be attached to the standard QRM-Thorax and QRM-Abdomen, but can as well be used as a stand alone phantom.
The QRM-Water-Tank can be filled with water and offers direct access to place smaller sample probes in the cylindrical unit.

It provides the ability to evaluate noise and homogeneity of a 3Dscan.

The phantom is as well part of our motion simulators: Sim4Dand Sim2D!

Specifications

Cylinder: outer diameter: 100 mm
Cylinder wall thickness: 3.0 mm
Cylinder length: 108 mm
Phantom length: 228 mm
Phantom weight: 0.6 kg
Material: PMMA

Beam Stop Phantom

Beam Stop Array for X-Ray Scatter Measurements.
QRM phantom QRM phantom

The Phantom consists of a regular array of lead cylinders embedded in a polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) plate. Under the assumption that the lead blockers offer an attenuation length sufficient to prevent primary radiation from reaching the detector, QRM-BeamStop is a convenient means to experimentally determine the x-ray scatter-to-primary ratio for a given measurement setup for analog and digital radiography.
The beam stop array is placed between the object and the x-ray source or between object and detector.
A measurement of the signal level behind each blocker gives the scatter intensity, whereas a measurement without the beam stop array represents the total intensity (scatter and primary signal). Dividing both values results in the scatter fraction.

Specifications

Body material: PMMA
Lead cylindrical inlets: Height: 6 mm
Diameter: 3 mm
Spacing: 20 mm
