The QRMMicroCT- ContrastScale phantom provides HA (calcium hydroxyapatite) and iodide samples, i.e. the substances of highest interest in small-animal research.

Micro-CT Dosimetry Phantom

The MicroCT Dose Phantom is designed to measure dose (DLP, CTDI) using a standard penzil shaped ionization chamber, usually availabel at a length of 100 mm.

 

QRM-MicroCT-Dose is a dosimetry phantom with a length of 120 mm for determination of DLP (Dose Length Product) and CTDI (Computed Tomography Dose Index). The central bore hole fits a standard pencil ionization chamber of 100 mm length. 
The removable insert is commonly used in standard dosimetry phantoms where ionization chambers can be inserted at the center and at 10 mm from the periphery of the phantom.

Micro-CT HA Phantom

A Phantom for calibrating CT-values. The five inserts provide most favorable density of CaHA for invivo or in-vitro Micro-CT bone calibration.

 

A Phantom housing five cylindrical inserts containing various densities of CaHA (calcium hydroxyapatite). The phantom can be used for bone density calibration purposes as well as high contrast resolution evaluations.

Micro-CT Low Contrast Phantom

As a useful tool for evaluation of contrast detectability the MicroCT Low Contrast Phantom provides four inserts of two different contrast levels, each in two different dimensions.

 

The MicroCT Low Contrast Phantom is a cylindrical phantom in which small details (cylindrical inserts) at a specified contrast with respect to the background allow for an estimation of the low-contrast resolution of a Micro-CT scanner. The difference in Hounsfield Units can be as low as -40 HU and -80HU, respectively. 
Actual values vary slightly depending on scanner geometry, calibration and tube voltage.

Micro-CT SSP Phantom

Measuring slice sensitivity profiles, slice thickness or axial modulation transfer function becomes easy with the Micro-CT-SSP- Phantom.

 

QRM-MicroCT-SSP contents a thin inserst of material that highly attenuates X-ray. The metal insert is only 10 microns thick and thus adapted to the nominal slice thickness of micro-CT scanners. 
The high-contrast platelet (diameter 1 mm) is embedded in the center of the cylindrical phantom made of resin.

Micro-CT Water Phantom

The QRM Micro-CT Water Phantom provides full homogeneity and is easy to use to measure noise and uniformity.

 

The QRM Micro-CT Water Phantom is a hollow cylinder to be filled with distilled water. It offers an intake/outlet screw in a convex closure head such that it can be used in a rotating gantry or in upright position. 
The phantom can be delivered with 0.2 mm wall thickness whereby the material used is not transparent, but provides a high mechanical stability. Also the phantom can be delivered out of PMMA with a wall thickness of 0.3 - 0.5 mm, less stable, but transparent.
