INTRODUCTION
Compliance West Mini PT-600
The Mini PT-600 is designed to perform the 60 Hz power line cross test/AC power fault test required in GR 1089 Issue 6 Table 4.5 Surge Tests 3, 4, 4.3, and 6, as well as UL 1950 Section 6.4 paragraphs 3 and 4. Preset and adjustable time setting measurement terminals, including voltage sensing and current shunt inlet, provide a safe location for users to accurately measure the test voltage and output current during testing settings. Mini_ The calibration design of PT-600 is to use a simple handheld multimeter, and if needed, a detachable splitter can be easily sent to the calibration laboratory. Computer control operations can be performed through the TestMinder PT option. Input power requirements: 208@50-60 Hz, 25 A.
Features:
PT-600 can perform power cross testing as specified in UL 1950/60950 and Bellcore/Telcordia GR1089, as well as high impedance induction source testing as specified in GR-1089. Some options may be required.
Optional tests include ITU-T power sensing and ground potential rise tests
The scope of use includes (1) line cross power testing, (2) primary AC fault testing, (3) 600Vac 2 ohm testing according to Article 4.5.11 of GR1089, (4) high impedance induction source testing, and (5) ITU-T power induction and ground potential rise (with correct selection).
For user safety, emergency stop buttons and external interlocking terminals are equipped on the front panel. All outputs are covered by interlocking doors to prevent operators from coming into contact with live outputs.
Optional fuse monitoring can accelerate testing.
The output can include up to 600V, 10 ohm impedance (60A), two channels for up to 5 seconds, and 600V 2 ohms (with line simulator fuse).
Continuously variable 0-600V, 90-13.6Kohm continuous duty cycle output, used to set outputs just below the protection limit.
TestMinder PT is standard and allows for automatic test management of multiple tests with the same output. Testing can also be conducted on the front panel of PT-600.
Adjustable time settings can be used for programming from the front panel for special test durations.
